Dear Editor, Crystal Springs, Newspaper, "The Meteor"
I am a proponent of buying locally in order for hometown businesses to be successful. However, in these trying economic times, it is sometimes hard when people are watching every penny that they spend and are looking for the best prices for food, gas and clothing.
My daughter just recently married and because of the length of time I had in order to put the event together, i was sent to Dana's Florist and Blakeney's photography by my sister. Never could i have imagined how much help these two businesses could bend over backwards to do the things necessary to pull off the most beautiful winter wonderland wedding that I have ever seen. They took my exasperating calls, stayed up late until the final decorations were finished, came to the church early to help in every way, and cleaned up in record timing. I honestly do not believe that a florist and a photographer from a larger city would have spent so much of their personal time helping to make this event as wonderful as it was.
I urge everyone to check these businesses out and spread the word of their dedication to their professional nd to hometown friends. I cannot thank them enough for everything they did for my family and me
